During the 2006-2007 season Pennsylvania Ballet performed at New York City Center
as part of the Fall for Dance Festival, and at the Whitaker Center for the Performing
Arts in Harrisburg. For its 44th season, the Company will present works by Balanchine,
Caniparoli, and Neenan at New York City Center.
In June 2008, the Company has been invited to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center
for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. as part of Ballet Across America, a
celebration of American ballet featuring nine renowned companies from coast to coast.
Pennsylvania Ballet is committed to sharing with new audiences its critically
acclaimed Company and spirited repertoire. As a special component to the touring program,
outreach and educational programs are often built into the tour to promote the development
of educated audiences and bring ballet to underserved schools and communities.
