Pennsylvania Ballet’s 2007-2008 Season: Dazzling Debuts and Treasured Favorites!

What makes Pennsylvania Ballet one of the leading companies in the country? The dancers' supreme artistry, distinct personalities and tireless work ethic make them elite artists, individually and collectively.

Pennsylvania Ballet’s 2007 – 2008 Season features an exhilarating line-up of treasured favorites and radiant premieres! The season jump starts with the frolicking dances of Company B, the refined beauty of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, and just in time for Halloween, the chilling, electrifying Dracula! During the holiday season, we’ll unveil an all-new and truly magical Nutcracker, featuring freshly-minted, colorful costumes and sumptuous sets. The rest of the season will charm you with a spectacular mix of ballets, from the company premiere of Messiah, choreographed to Handel’s celebrated score, to the comical story of Coppélia. For the finale, we will unleash Christopher Wheeldon’s Carnival of the Animals, a wildly imaginative ballet for children and for the child in all of us!
