Pennsylvania Ballet’s 2007 – 2008 Season features an exhilarating line-up of treasured favorites
and radiant premieres! The season jump starts with the frolicking dances of Company B, the refined
beauty of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, and just in time for Halloween, the chilling,
electrifying Dracula! During the holiday season, we’ll unveil an all-new and truly magical Nutcracker,
featuring freshly-minted, colorful costumes and sumptuous sets. The rest of the season will charm you
with a spectacular mix of ballets, from the company premiere of Messiah, choreographed to Handel’s
celebrated score, to the comical story of Coppélia. For the finale, we will unleash Christopher
Wheeldon’s Carnival of the Animals, a wildly imaginative ballet for children and for the child in all of us!
