Sarah Grace Lee
Born in the Philippines, Sarah Grace Lee began her ballet training at age 10 at the International Christian Academy Ballet Program. She was one of the founding members of the Acts Manila Youth Co. and later became a full scholar at the Philippine Ballet Theater (PBT), Ballet Manila Company, CCPDS (Official School of Ballet Philippines), and Joffrey Ballet School New York. Ms. Lee was also offered scholarships to summer programs at The School of American Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, and the Washington Ballet School.
At age 13, Ms. Lee performed professionally with PBT, Ballet Manila, and Ballet Philippines. She has also performed in the SAB Student Choreography Workshop, at the New York Choreographic Institute, and as an apprentice with North Carolina Dance Theater. Ms. Lee trained as a scholar with The School of American Ballet for two years. She also trained as a competitive figure skater from ages 6 to 13 with the Philippine Ice Skating Team.
In 2011, Ms. Lee was invited to join Pennsylvania Ballet II and was promoted to Apprentice for the 2013-2014 Season. Her numerous performances with the Company include Giselle, Twyla Tharp’s Push Comes to Shove, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™, The Four Temperaments, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
