Tyler Fazio Galster was born and raised in upstate New York where he discovered his love for dance. He began his early training at age 12 from Canan and Stephen Jackson at the John Hayes O’Neill Studio of Dance in Rome, New York. He spent summers at The School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre in Orange County, Kaatsbaan, Stiefel and Students, and three summers as a National Training Scholar at American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Mr. Galster also studied at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Torrington, Connecticut, on scholarship.

In 2005, he was accepted into the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre for two years under the direction of Franco DeVita. While at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, Mr. Galster appeared in American Ballet Theatre’s Cinderella, Sylvia, and Manon. During American Ballet Theatre’s 2006 Metropolitan Season, Mr. Galster was an Apprentice with the company in their production of Petrouchka and Jue De Cartes. Also in 2006, Mr. Galster competed in the Youth American Grand Prix International Competition. He placed second in the classical ballet division for the preliminary round and was a finalist in New York City.

Mr. Galster joined Pennsylvania Ballet as an Apprentice in 2007 and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2008. While dancing with Pennsylvania Ballet, Mr. Galster has performed Cavalier in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, The Jester in Cinderella, Forget Domani in Nine Sinatra Songs, and Gurn in La Sylphide.
