School of Philadelphia Ballet’s Summer Intensive is followed by two popular and unique programs for advanced dancers: the Choreographic Workshop and the Company Experience with Philadelphia Ballet Artistic Director, Angel Corella.

The Choreographic Workshop offers students the opportunity to be a part of the creative process with the creation of a brand-new ballet. Led by world-renowned guest choreographers, students will receive daily classical ballet technique lessons followed by a full day of rehearsals for the new work. The Choreographic Workshop will conclude with a world-premiere performance of the piece. Select students from the Choreographic Workshop may be invited to attend School of Philadelphia Ballet’s full-year Student and/or Professional Program.

Students who are accepted into SPB’s summer programs and meet the age requirement are automatically eligible to enroll in the Choreographic Workshop and Company Experience. These week-long programs can be attended on their own or in tandem with the Summer Intensive Program. Eligible students are encouraged to attend all programs for the ultimate Philadelphia Ballet experience.

AUDITION INFORMATION

*Students that meet the age requirement only need to audition once to be considered for the Summer Intensive Program, Choreographic Workshop, and Company Experience.

REGISTRATION AND TUITION


Students must audition in order to be considered for the Summer Intensive Program, Choreographic Workshop, and Company Experience. For more information on our audition process, please visit our auditions page. Merit scholarships may be available for students also participating in the Summer Intensive Program. Scholarships are not available for the Choreographic Workshop or Company Experience with Angel Corella.

Tuition Information

All payments, including but not limited to audition fees, registration fees, tuition, scholarship fees (if applicable), and housing payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

STUDENT HOUSING


Student Housing is available for the Summer Intensive Program, Choreographic Workshop, and Company Experience.
