We are excited to announce the The School of Pennsylvania Ballet's Annual Spring Performance will be held at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, May 5, 2017 and Sunday, May 7, 2017. The program features an array of classical ballet performed by our talented students. This program is open to the public and is perfect for all ages. We hope to see you there!
Choreography By Carmen Corella and Dayron Vera // Music By Carl Czerny
A perfect opening to the program, this ballet shows the beauty and intensity of ballet class. Progressing from the simplist of steps to the most challenging of movements, it will be a treat to see our youngest and most advanced students take to the stage together.
Choreography by Peter Stark // Music by Charles Gounod
This exquisite ballet was originally choreographed for Orlando Ballet and will be performed by our most advanced students and trainees.
La Fille Mal Gardee, Act II
Choreography by Samantha Dunster (after Alexander Gorksy) // Music by Peter Ludwig Hertel and Ferdinand Herold
This light-hearted story is conveyed through the beautiful technique and artistry of classical ballet, with a little comedy on the side! You're sure to leave the theater with a smile.
